For too long, “girly” has been treated as the opposite of serious. As if talking about skincare, style, or your crush makes you less strategic, less credible, or less worthy of respect.

Pretties.chat was founded by a group of women who’ve seen firsthand how underrepresented marginalized voices are in conversations about entrepreneurship, tech, and business—unless those conversations are filtered through more “palatable” lenses. The message is subtle but clear: be successful, but don’t look too feminine while doing it.

We’re over that.

At pretties.chat, we believe you can ask about fashion and funding in the same breath. You can run a business and care about your Venus placement. You can show up in a pink claw clip and still be the sharpest strategist in the room.
